WHAT WE DO
OUR APPROACH
We take a science- and facts-based approach toward drug education. We believe that understanding the effects of drugs on the brain and the possible adverse consequences will drive sensible decisions in youth.
OUR INITIATIVES
Through our three main initiatives, we aim to raise awareness among youth about the prevalence, potential consequences, and science behind drug use and addiction.
Curriculum Development
We have developed a science-based drug and addiction education program curriculum that consists of engaging content and activities for middle schoolers. Our curriculum covers how addiction happens as a result of changes in the brain; the dangers and potential consequences of drug use, such as overdose; facts regarding illicit drugs; and overdose case studies to raise awareness.
Community Outreach
In partnership with local youth programs and community organizations, we deliver interactive education sessions to youth and families in the community.
We recruit and train high school students to be Youth Drug Education Leaders in their schools and communities.
Recruiting Youth Drug Education Leaders
We invite high school and college students to join us to become youth drug education leaders in their local communities. Recruitment for our 2027 program will begin in Fall 2026. Youth leaders will be trained to deliver our science and facts-based drug and addiction curriculum in their local communities.
